Bigyanananda Mission and Bhowanipore Math

Every year Bigyanananda Mission celebrates Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, Ratanti kali Puja . Satyanarayana Puja is celebrated at Bhowanipore Math on every full moon (Purnima) for welfare of mankind and universe.
Bhowanipore Math distributes educational accessories like exercise books, pens etc. to school children belonging to low income group. Occasional need-based charity is also performed.

It sometimes become impossible to directly contribute in welfare of society due to lack of enough manpower as well as infrastructure. Bhowanipore Math therefore extends the help through other Institutions in connection with several relief missions.
Standing beside the distressed and taking part in relief mission is indeed a social responsibility. Like every other time, Bhowanipore Math and Bigyanananda Mission extended the helping hands to the victims of the recent natural calamity in Kerala by contributing a sum of Rs. 5000 directly to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.
