Thakur Sri Sri Lenin Roy, the greatest disciple and torch bearer of Thakur Bigyanananda Maharaj was by profession a lawyer. He was born on 30th July, 1928 and spent most of his boyhood outside West Bengal.

He came in touch with Thakur for the first time in 1953 at the age of 24 years. Rightly conceiving the teachings of Sri Srimat Swami Bigyanananda, Sri Lenin Roy took the responsibility of making people understand Thakur’s sayings through writing many articles and books.Throughout his life, following the motto of ‘Satya Manan’ (Thinking of Truth), ‘Satya Kathan’ (Speaking Truth) and ‘Satya Palan’ (Practicing Truth) Sri Sri Lenin Roy made the world around him believe that the actual purpose of one’s life is to ‘See God’. He paved the path of his disciples by showing the meaning of ‘attaining’ Absolute Truth by his activities and lifestyle. He himself was an icon of Love and Peace.

After demise of Thakur Bigyanananda and Sri Washington Roy, Sri Sri Lenin Roy took up the charges of Bigyanananda Mission as Chairman of the Institution, which got registered in 1980 under the Society Registration Act, West Bengal Act XXVI(1961).

After the demise of Sri Sri Lenin Roy on 1st April, 2007, the disciples and members of Bigyanananda Mission become more active in social welfare and development, following meticulously the directions and teachings of their Master.
